Fabric membrane materials are also a wonderful application to clad facades, either on big structures like stadiums using the same technology as tensile fabrics, or, with ETFE cushion or single layer.

However, a new trend is the use of simple, economic and optimized framing systems that allows for the refurbishment of all different kinds of facades in a quick and easy way. The frames are prefabricated to the necessary size and do not need any special support structure. They are hung from the facade with some attachment, like concrete slabs or steel columns. And so with an old building you can chose whatever facade you wish.

Size and layout of frames is open. Mostly a silver color mesh fabric will be used. It looks like aluminum panels and allows you to see through from the inside.
